The Story Behind L.I.F.E. Solutions

L.I.F.E. started on paper, but it’s always been about people.

🛠 Under construction — kind of like therapy: Messy in the middle, but totally worth it.

L.I.F.E. Solutions and Counselling was born from my earliest days as a university student, inspired by an assignment, which I simply titled “L.I.F.E.”

In that paper, I wrote:

“People managing their mental wellness have to define a new sense of normal, often daily. Through the beautiful gift of vulnerability, I have learned that lives can be radically changed.

I acknowledge that sometimes I need to choose passion over skill, adventure over comfort, intuition over logic, and faith over fear. It was through this revolution of obligations that I realized, it was myself who is the artist that is drawing the life course and no one else can do that for me. I am drafting up my ideal life and making it a reality. I plan on doing this by transforming my passion into my career, visualizing my dreams, setting huge goals, putting family ahead of work, building a foundation through education, overcoming fears, and becoming an advocate for children, youth, and families”.

That belief has guided my work ever since, as a Registered Clinical Social Worker, Counsellor, and as a person passionate about mental health and wellness.

L.I.F.E. Solutions and Counselling is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and systems-approach. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space for individuals, families, and members of the LGBTQ2S+ community to share their stories, celebrate their strengths, and redefine what “normal” means for them—whether they’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, gender identity, neurodiversity, or major life transitions.

Every client’s journey is unique, and my practice is about walking alongside you—offering support, evidence-based therapy, and a genuine partnership on your path to healing and growth. At L.I.F.E. Solutions, you’ll find more than counselling; you’ll find real connection, practical strategies, and a place where lasting change is possible.
